I just got xbox live and my best game would of course be halo. Any1 got any tips on how to be the best???????

First, you have got to know what it means to be the worst before you can be the best. Learn to dredge the depths. Make an easy target of yourself and watch HOW the enemy takes you out, what do they do that is effective?

Next, don't work with your teammates, I know this sounds crazy but go with me on this. Don't work with them and watch HOW it screws them up. What flank got left open because you weren't there? What was the route they took to punch in the bomb when you weren't there?

Finally, behaviour is a part of a winning team. So misbehave, blame everyone else for everything. Accuse the other team of cheating. Not only will you encounter and learn how bad behaviour can ruin a session of gaming, as the other guys get pissed off, they'll likely tell you what it was you should have been doing, thereby making it a doubly valuable lesson!

Do this until you get your account banned, then get a new one, start from scratch and you'll be a killer.

No kidding.

Just have some strategy when you play. Don't run around trying to kill everything that moves like a chicken with your head cut off. And try to find some players who are pretty good and play with them a lot. If you see what they do it'll only help you get better.

This always worked when i played. It really makes you "stand out". Run into a corner and press the L trigger twice. Then watch and wait. Its some good stuff i tell ya. :whistle:

When your doing that, dont forget to whore the Rocket Launcher and the Sword.

I found your method really good!

Ok despite that really bad story, the Rocket Launcher is a very hard weapon to get the hang of using and no halo madman can play with [1..2...3] 8 fingers. I would use a primary vehcle to take him out in, although this isn't blowing each other into shreads its still a laugh cos if that guys good enough he can target you and get a shot in. If he's just to hard to beat start a match on live with some mates and show him who is boss.


Layout Plan


The following equitmentg is advised:

A Ghost
2 Launchers
And a Banshee



The Plan


Ghost will be in a randome hidden spot

The 2 Launchers will stay with the ghost protecting it

And the Banshee will stay above.





Heres Whats Happenin


This Hidden area must remain hidden, otherwise your done for.1st of all choose a map [ i would say the snow level, but its up to you]. If this map happens to be the one i suggested make your way to a different directions from your enemie [Note: The Banshee must not be seen]. So your in your formation and your ready to go. If you have a 5th play he is the spy. Ok so the Ghost must move the same speed as the Launchers to be protected if spotted. Make your way into the direction your enemie is and just hide behind a mountine or something like that. Now just stay there for a moment, your enemie shold be moving along the snow searching for a secret spot to spot you out. Just stay there and if your enemie happens to be up high just travel along the snow slowley. The Banshee shall now make a move up [again this must be slow] and the rest of the crew will move on prottecting the Ghost. So your ina pretty tight possision and need to start attacking soon. The Banshe shall now attack and get the enemie to chase it. Now get the Ghost outta there just travel behind the Ghost Shooting up at the target, don't leave him alone or he will go for the Banshe. Now is the time to get back to your base and expose it, well at least your enemie thinks. Lead the ghost through a tunnel or something dark and make sure the ghost and Banshee is far away from the launchers. The enemie comes in and you blow the lights outta em!

listen dont listen to any of them they probly suck and havnt been to a MLG tourny or hurd of 1 in there life

First is to avoid running in on your own

Second team mates help alot so stay close to them just not to close for they might nade u or the enemy will get a nice display of medals. but if u see a team mate wondering off by himself go with him to back him up if he needs it

Three if a guy has a sniper rifle (unless in team snipers) guard him sniper rifles rule most games. rockets help plenty and so does sword

fourth: never hold 2 power weapons at a time [E.x. sword and sniper or sniper and rockets]

cuz then this will give more of a chance of if u die the enemy will pick them up.

Five: nades help plenty around corners and such so if u dont wanna run into a place where the enemy is throw a nade. go figure :rolleyes:

six: never stand still and shoot.

seven: if all power weapons are taken use noob combo ( Battle Rifle and Plasma Pistol)

eight: never fallow a enemy with your shield down

nine: if your shields down take cover ( duh!!)

ten: crouch when u go to beet down this allows the enemy to try to beet u down but he/she will miss if u duck.

I wouldn't go that far. The combo is cheap but it is effective so I don't know why so many people b*tch about it.

But I do wonder how you can not know how to spell "follow". Sound it out now. FO-LOW. I know it's hard but if a 6 year old can figure out it is FO and not FA I think you can to. Follow... not fallow. Just spend some time with hooked on phonics and less on Halo. I'm pretty sure in the real world one of them has meaning and value.
