Robotech to be cel-shaded...

hey everyone..i was browsing through the web when i came upon teamxbox's website...there i found that robotech is to be cel-shaded...is it jsut me, or are there more and more cel-shaded games coming out in the future? can u imagine? halo, cel-shaded?

Yeah seems to be the latest fad in graphics. I thought that Capcom cel shaded racing game looked somewhat cool though. It's for the PS2 though:mad:

man get off the band wagon, why make more sel shaded games?

i mean okay jgr for dc was awsome, the new zelda?? maybe awsome. but celshaded robotech?? mechs fighting zentrati forces in a cel battle? please this news bites.

and house of the dead cel- shaded?? acctuallly i think ill dig the hotd3. love that game,

yea, i agree, cel shaded games dont really interest me as much as non-cel shaded games, i dont know why, but i just think they look too childish and cartoony for me.

Cel shading doesn't bother me as long as it is appropriate for the genre. Robotech seems right for cel shading. JSRF...I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't want to see something like Silent Hill 3 in any other style besides realistic.
