Halo 2 Update?

So I went on my 360 today and I had to update my console to play. I ask everyone, and they say they didn't have to. Is this a 360-only update? :confused:

Yeah I think every xbox game you play on the 360 has to be updated the first time so it can be emulated to play on the 360.

If you delete all of your gamesaves, aparently it gives you a free bios upgrade and it's really easier to mod. It's just a rumor though....

I tried to get this but then it said the files were corrupt or something like that, cant get the maps either so i cant play online :nightmare

that happened to me too

it said the files were corrupt

I had to restart the game like 3 times
