Why is it asking for my credit card? i put in the subscription code for the 12 months free card and i want to stop playing after 12 months i dont want to keep going.....will it take money from the card as soon as i put it in the space? How do i tell them not to take money? sorry im new to this ....

Give them your #. They want it so that if you leave it after 12 months, it will auto-renew for you and it doesn't cause you any inconvience. If you only want it for 12 months, enter the code with your card #, and a day before your subscription expires, call 1 800 4 MY XBOX and ask them to cancel it.

Aside form the payment option, the dredit card is also used as an age verification. Either your old enough, or your parents know what your doing. basically covering there behinds.
