because i have a nice plantronics headset that i used all the time with my xbox, but i want the controls to mute my headset and adjust my volume...is there a "puck" for the 360 controller yet that would work like this?

that sucks...one more way they are trying to monopolize their products by hard-wiring the puck and the headphone together....:mad:

I'm not sure what you mean by a 'puck'...guess I'm a little out on my modern music slang?

However, I have made myself a little adapter that allows me to use my Altec Lansing headset with the 360. The headset takes in stereo sound via 3.5mm jack, and mono mic input through another 3.5mm. The adapter plugs into the headphone out on my receiver, and the 360 controller, combines the voice + music/sound and runs the mic along.
