Now that the 360 has been out for a while how do you guys feel about calling it the Xbox 360? I know that we all felt kinda wierd at first but doesn't just seem to roll off the tongue now?

Based on their marketing approach and the symbol which perfectly relates to the name, I think the Xbox 360 was a good call. It covers the old Xbox and makes the consumer think of the whole new "360 degree" approach to next gen. gaming. So yeah I'm definitely down with it.

And good call man, it definitely seemed, how shall I say, awkward at first, but once you realised the "full rotation" of it all it seemed to fit right in.

The name grew on me. I don't even call my system Xbox, I call it simply "my 360":cheers:

I still call the thing the XBox2. When they call the third XBox the XBox 4, in order to confuse the shopping masses looking at a PS4, I'm going to be the only one wondering where the XBox 3 was.

Then again, I'm a fan of giving sequels new names, instead of numbers.

Good thread ShaDovV RyDer. We were all like "WTF" when we heard the name. But I like it and I usually joke around at school and call it my Sexbox 360 degrees lol.

its just a 360 lol now that i think about it i prefer it over xbox next

Of course if you think about it, 360 degrees, is right back where you started. So therefore wouldn't that be just reselling an xbox? Shouldn't it have been xbox 180? lol...

at firs ti thought the name "xbox 360" was kinda wierd, cause when you think about it, if you go 360 degrees, where do you end up? right back where ya started. then i saw a video by microsoft explaining the name, and since then it's grown on me....also i too call it the sexbox...booya!

mine wont let me get past 2nd base, says that we havent been together long enough, i am just not sure if i can wait any longer. i tried to say that we have been together since november and thats a long ****in time, but still a no go. i just hope the playstation is a little more slutty
