Yesterday I got my xbox magazine like I normaly do except it had alot about Halo 3 in it
On top of some of the pages it shows what cortana says in the trailer it says "I have defiled gods and demons... I am your sheild, I am your sword...I know you... Your past, Your future... This is the way the world ends" When I read this I thought when she said gods I thought it meant the MJOLNIR armour after all its the norse god Thors hammer and demons I thought was Master cheif because of the Covenant called him demon.
Also the magazine says that he is holding a gun similar to the MA5B assult rifle and I couldnt help but notice in 15 seconds of the trailer a little Grunt crossing sign

it sure does sound like "source", but even Bungie said it was "sword" and it does make more sense that way.

it sounds nothing like source, what the hell are you talking about. That would make no sense "I am your sheild, I am your source....". I'm no so sure those shields and sources go together so well...but perhaps a sword and a shield might have some kind of vague and mysterious relation :rolleyes:

I think it actually does sound like she says source but you are right, she really says sword.
This sounds like its turning into the matrix trilogy. The first one is good, but once the creators see its popular, they try to get all philosophical, cram too much obscure lore into it and make it take itself much too seriously.
Is Halo three going to run into another construct that talks like a pompous lawyer? "ergo... concordantly..."

I think Halo 3 will be amazing. I feel bungie knows what to fix now for Halo 3, I think they know that they need a GOOD filter for standbying and that modding shouldn't be a problem YET on the 360. I think they know now what gametypes we like, what weapons we like, when weapon starts we like, and the will build Halo 3 on what we like. I think it will be the best of all three games. Hopefully, this game will require more skill, and the little kiddies will cry when they get their game, and never play it again.

That reminds me! I went to a pool part last week, and I took my socks off and put them in a bag. I guess the bags got mixed up, so I ended up with one sock!! Some-****ing-body stole my sock! Who the fuk stole my sock?
My friend said that it "was just a sock", and I was like "JUST A SOCK!? JUST A SOCK!>!>!" and then he was like "I'm kidding, I'm kidding, stop crying!" and we all went home.

I loved that guy in the Matrix. He was so amazingly hard to understand, but if you take the time, it really does make sense. Plus he did explain why everything is as it is. He talked just like i would have expected a self-rightous computer program to talk.

.... I feel bungie knows what to fix now for Halo 3....I must be the only guy on here that doesn't think Halo 2 was bad. I really liked Halo 2. It was way better than Halo 1.
But then, i'm not playing online like you guys, so my experiances are limited to playing in a LAN with friends.

I LOVE Halo 2. I just think that the love for the game is taken away when you get modded, and standbyed etc. Nobody gave the game a chance and just stopeed playing it. I LOVE it. I've been playing it on Live since day one. It never gets old.
But really, If you were one of people who stopped playing becuase of modders and standbyers, I haven't been modded or standbyed in a LONG time. Its almost as if people gave it up, or the filters are REALLY good now.
