360 disk tray

Hi every1 i have a xbox360 core system. And i have a faceplate for it. But it doesn't look right because of the visible part of the disk tray is a horrible white colour. I tried the faceplate on my mates premium console and it looks much better with the chrome part of the disk tray showing. Can any1 please tell me is there any way of removing it and replacing it with a chrome one?

Get right type of chrome paint, remove the disk drive faceplate, and spray it. Do a good job though, you don't wanna mess it up. Thats all I can think of. Unless you can find one on the net for like 5 or 10 bucks, thats all I can think of. Save your money, but games, not faceplates.

i got a core system and the faceplat looks fine...i got the nyko one though.
