I picked this up yesterday, and man, it seems really cool. Driving is very realistic. Better engine sounds than most. Beginning tutorial was pretty lame, and there were some really bad cut-scenes, but I'm going to have fun with a driving game for the first time in years.

Thats cool. I haven't even tried the demo yet because I had heard bad things. I remeber playing the very first Test Drive on my Dos machine back in the day. Some more impressions as you play would be appreciated.

I was playing the demo for months. I loved it. I want this game, but I need to think about how much money I want to throw away for games.

What makes the game unique among racing games?
There's a couple of things Maxi, like the fact that it's a M.O.O.R. (Massively Open Online Racing), meaning you can cruise around and see other people just driving around. Also, you can interact, buy cars, homes businesses, and you can alse buy and sell with other people online. So if I start to get sick of some of my cars or something, I can sell them to other players, cheaper that what they coud buy them from the dealer for. It's a really cool idea, and there's a lot from a bunch of different games rolled into one. It's kinda like PGR meets NFSMW, meets Barbie Horse Adventures, and we all know that any truely good game has to have something in common with BHA.:cool:

I think thats cool on its own. I might rent it and give it a go. I spent my last bit of cash on my Gears and Forza preorders and I still have to buy Viva Pinata.

I just picked this game up and it is sweet. I like how 1 player and multi-player is combined into one fluid thing. I would give this game a solid 8 out of 10. OH AND IT COST $40 NEW!!!:cheers:

I played the demo and was very dissapointed. I thought the driving felt terrible. It seemed like on all turns you were using the e-brake. Also you like bounce off poles and stuff. Very lame. I'm not going to be picking this up.

Demo does not do this game justice.

I am absolutely loving this title, and wouldnt have been the least upset if I had paid $60 for it rather than $40. Its worth every penny. So many options, so many customizations, etc... If you like any driving games, its a must have. Especially for $40.

How does the online part of the game work is it fluid or a pain in the ass to setup races.


I loved the demos driving felt very real, but damage would be cool.

Online is absolutely solid. You can easily get into races, istant challenge anyone you pass on the road, or find friends an "warp" to their location. All with ease. This game is great.

Yeah that sounds nice I would like to get this game, but I do not have Xbox Live Gold or a fast internet connection I have to go to a buddys to get on Marketplace, but maybe someday.

its fun, and the map is the biggest i've seen in any game. you should get it its only about $20 or $30 now. some of the engine tones are way off though
