I dont know how many seriousl gamers there are on here....but

well some of the top gaming leagues around are gamebattles (which was actually just bought out), epic ladders...e.t.c

well before them was a site called Team Compete. Well Team Compete is the site that my clan plays on and they are almost finished with what they have come to call "the rebirth"

now what the rebirth is, is a huge over haul of the site and a lot of cool new features, This is probably going to be one of the biggest gaming leagues around.

so if anyone here has a clan that is looking to get serious about gaming you should really check this place out.

Considering those "Crooks" made people pay once just because they were complaining about everythign and gettinngout of control.

and now you dont have to support by paying, since its totaly free, and has been free for SEVERAL months.

they dont have corrupt admins, just players.

Yet the "non-corrupt" admins used personal information to call and verbally threaten people? No thanks. That place made its bed, and they can lay in it. Trying to have a "rebirth" isnt going to hide the facts that have happened in the past and that the unforunate souls coming along now know nothing about. Why do you think its free now? Because GameBattles was taking all of their members that wanted a fair and better site.

I have no good words to say about Team Compete and will always warn other folks to steer clear of that site. That site does not deserve any traffic from "real" gamers. Team Compete had scheisters at the top, corrupt tourney leaders, a lousy navigation and an extremely clunky site. So they have a "rebirth" to try and cover all that up.

How long has it been since you have been there?

They have a totaly new steff, and are setting up as we speak a brand new site.

obviously you have been out of the loop for a while. and if you want to talk about corrupt dont even talk good about Game Battles...

TC is a very good site to play for, and with the rebirth is a very promising gaming site.

Why do you think it needed a rebirth???? Kinda odd that they realize they had to revamp the site completely, AND rebuild a reputation through people like yourself trying to promote them. I really couldnt give a crap if they have added some new features to it. You cant change true intentions of the guys at the top running the show. They may try to put on a mask and make everything look and sound great, but underneath it all its still the same site. They may bring in new tourney directors and what not, but again will not change the views of the people at the top.

I havent been there in a LONG time and dont plan on going back anytime soon and will continue to tell friends to stay WAAAAy clear of that site. And I will publicly slam this site when I see someone promoting it just so people know its not all its cracked up to be despite the "rebirth". People have a choice and they can go check it out, of course, but they should know that there are some ugly events in the history of TeamCompete. And to be clear, i am not talking about teams cheating, etc... I am talking about the people that started the site and ran the show. There are some very explicit words that can be used to describe these scheisters.

Yes some stuff happend in the past, and not all of it was TC fault at all. People just like to put the blame on them since its easy.

I think this kind of explains a lot.

What is Teamcompete's main "draw" to get lost players back from other competitive sites after the what I like to call "15 dollar uprising"?


The draw? We cannot get people back to the site that are satisfied with playing in an environment that allows their head admins to play in matches. We cannot drive people back that want to rack-up wins by playing on 10 different teams and giving themselves free wins. We cannot get people back that do not support us and everything we stand for. But we damn sure will get people back that know and have known that we are the best at what we do and this time our system will help us get even better. So what is our draw? The door is open for all the play at Team Compete and knowing that it's open, exciting, and free will hopefully be enough to bring people back because we have no intention on closing the doors again!

Well to people that know what happened in the past , that absolutely means nothing. It sounds more like pleads and desperation for people to come back to Team Compete because they need them to. But the stuff I refer to was completely TC's fault as it was the top dogs doing it. What is "it"? Well the most discerning "it" would be the fact that the "top dogs" at TC used personal information to actually call people on the phone and makes threats and degrading comments. THATS RIDICULOUS. And I will never trust any admin or site administrator at TC ever again for that alone. Many people dont know about that, but many people do. And people need to know that you are putting your personal information at stake when handing it over to Team Compete.

The rebirth = Coverup to the unknowing.

I just got done Talking to the "Top" guys, and they claim that that is a total BS comment.

and that they have NEVER done that. and that this must be some rumor, unless you have evidence of course. Then by all means prove it.

And if you were one of the top guys, would you admit it??? Probably not, especially when you are trying to build a good reputation. I am sure it can be googled to find out all the juicy tidbits. At one time, it was a huge topic in forums all over the place. Before TC's "rebirth" errr..... cover up.

I've done my part and got the word out to any unsuspecting folks here that may have thought about going to Team Compete. Its there choice in the end, but I hope they think about it long and hard and consider other options long before that place.

Honestly YOU may of had a bad experience in the past, but it is a totaly new site, and things have changed since you have been around.

The people their are great, the competition is great.

I have never once had a problem with any of the "top" guys.

I also hope people dont take your word, because its nothing like you say it is and thats the truth.

It may be different now......That could very well be true, but it still doesnt hide their past. They can lie all they want about things not happening, and try and candy coat their site. The fact of the matter remains, there are much more respectable sites around then TC. I suggest GameBattles to anyone before TC by a long shot. And I hope TC rots in hell.

You will have corrupt players at ALL clan sites. Thats just the way it goes. But when it elevates to the level of admins pulling crap that shouldnt happen is when the line should be drawn. Again, more power to them and trying to restart the site, but I will never support them and wont encourage anyone else to do so.

but still I know what you are saying about the players being corrupt, and TC has been good about getting those people off their site, just ask the clan "The Ghost's"

TC may have had a bad moment before, but now they are trying fix what happend and make a gaming site better then anything out there.

Glad you have so much faith in the word of the admins over there. Seems other had that same kind of faith until it bit them in the arse. But I'll stop beating a dead horse. There are many out there that know the truth about those guys at TC and not one of those persons will ever give TC any respect.

More power to those that give TC a try. And more power to them trying to restore a decent reputation. Thats probably the biggest hurdle. But if they have pulled the wool over a lot of folks eyes, and those folks promote heavily outside the site, then I am sure many gamers will populate their site again. As for original teams and members coming back. I dont forsee to much of that happening. It'll be mostly new people at TC.

Now if they would just axe the admins that think they are bigger than life, things could be fine. But since they say there has never been a problem, I guess that will never happen.

Well, after 3 min of being up 186 users signed up.

and a bunch of teams have signed up for the leagues, so all in all I think it wa sa really good launch.

and if anyone has any intrest in serious gaming they wouldnt listen to you, no offense but what your saying is pretty much just a rumor.

Rumor to some, truth to others. And thats fine if people decide to go there. They should just be aware of the other side of the coin. The tarnished side.

To me though, serious gaming would be Major League Gamers. Team Compete and Game Battles are where the kiddies like to take their "teabagging" halo clans. To each his own though I guess.

Actually MLG only supports 2 games.

TC and GB support many games giving gamers more of a variety.

I think MLG only supports Halo2 and SoCom.

Right, I just meant thats where you'll find professionalism since it is a :professional" gaming site. On TC and GB you never know what you may run into on the other team. Could be lots of screaming 6 year olds!!! UGGGGG!!
