The screenshot above was snapped at an Xbox Live event and it clearly shows that the hard drive for this Xbox 360 has 70 GB free meaning that there are newer hard drives available that are at least 70+ GB. This seems to make sense to coincide with the release of high definition video content, which will demand more space than the current 20 GB hard drives have, and with demos and game videos piling up after a year of use. I personally cannot wait for a larger hard drive but only can wonder as to how gamers will be able to transfer information from one drive to another. Also, if 70 GB, rather than 80GB (a more standard hard drive size) is the only larger size the drives will be available in, I do like the quiet shot that Microsoft is taking at Sony, who’s largest PlayStation 3 drives will be 60 GB.

I hope you're right. I'm worried about losing space for my XBLA games.
I just hope this isn't a photoshop deal like the 100 gig one

I know what you mean I hate photoshop deals. That is why I didn't put this on the front page didn't know if it's true of not.

fantastic move by microsoft if it is true. They should think about lowering the price of their current 20 gb one to a more affordable price so that they can price their next biggest HDD size at $100
