Point of this Forum?

i thought the point of these type of forums were for games that people are gonna be talking about for a long while..now iv played this game and its fun..but its not anything for the age that this site is trying to market to (ie "the slut nurse after asylum) now i like this site and and all but this just isnt the type of site for a Viva Pinata forum.

Oh I beg to differ on your age limit you seem to set for this game. This game is for ALL ages, young and old. This forum makes perfect sense for a Xbox Fan site as this very game is a sleeper hit and will only pick up in popularity.

The basis for this forum is to give folks the opportunity to trade and discuss pinatas to their hearts content. I expect this forum to pick up in pace after the holiday only for the reason as this game will probably be a very popular gift item. While it may not be your cup of tea, or many others, there will be folks out there that will use this forum. I can think of 2 right off the bat and they have both posted in this forum already. LOL! :p Right Stephen? LOL!

There is no certain age demographic that this site is directed towards as you suggest, but more along the lines of being directed at ALL Xbox and 360 fans.

As for Viva Pinata, you obviously didn't play the game much, otherwise you'd see the potential of these forums.

It doesn't matter though, this forum should be removed because nobody posts in it. We're more coppies of GoW or CoD sold then this game? Why wasn't a forum made for those games? Thats what im trying to get at, you know? I have a feeling that microsoft wanted a forum put in or something...

There is a Gears forum, which ironically only has just as many threads in it as this one. So i guess you could say that Viva Pinata is just as popular as Gears of War when looking at it that way.

The problem is too many people stereotype this game which is the worst thing anyone could do. I personally think this is the best game I have played on the 360 to date, and it will probably remain that way for quite some time. At least until Forza 2.

I for one am still digging into this game, but appreciate the forum and will use it when the time comes.

Oh contraire.....i think by spring this game will be on a lot of radars. Its sliding under the radar right now, but starting to get more and more recognition. Once the multiplayer update come along with new downloadable pinatas, this game will be talked about I am sure.

Now, could be totally wrong about this, but, I have good feelings about it and why not give it a chance. The real point is, what is it hurting by having a forum regardless? It doesnt affect you guys in anyway really. Go to the forums that interest you and avoid the ones that dont. Simple solution.

This game has had its chance already to be "caught by the radar" lol. Really, its more appealing to the younger audience.

I am having a really hard time understanding why this forum bothers you so much?

This game deserves as much attention as Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Rainbow 6 Vegas, etc...Is it a masculinity thing? I really think you need to sit down and play this game before you jump to your conclusions about it. Maybe too late for that as it seems you think this game is just for kids and dont seem to want to budge from that stance. Well, too bad for you, you're missing out on one of the best 360 games to date.

Many things are on the horizon for this game, and as I stated before this forum will be just as popular, if not more popular than gears of War. Pretty confident about that.

Too each his own I guess. Some will not like it, but many do. But to say the game isnt amazingly fun just doesnt seem quite accurate and sound more like flaming than anything.

Is the game developed for kids? Yes, it will attract kids. But it will attract teenagers, and adults as well. Its a FAMILY oriented game. No need for guns, no need for swearing, no need for violence. Video games dont need all the steriotypical melarchy as mentioned to be good. To appeal to alot of teenagers, yes it probably does.

But this game is as simple or complicated as one would want to make it. Kids can pick it up and play to their hearts content, giggling everytime a new pinata visists their garden. Teens and adults can take the game an extra step and try to get all the achievements, obtain all the pinata and garden awards, etc. A child under 10 will have some issues trying to obtain all the goals.

Obviously the game doesnt appeal to you, which is fine, but by the looks of the leaderboards on Viva Pinata, over 150,000 people to date are enjoying it and that number grows daily it seems. Gears of War doesnt appeal to me, but you dont see me in there bashing the game or forum, it has its own fan base as well.

the fact that you think a game that can be played safely by kids cannot possibly be enjoyed by more "mature" video gamers simply shows one of the many ignorances of the modern gamer... simply because you can't blow off heads with a sniper rifle does not make this sub-par entertainment.

I personally hate sports games because they are the same thing year in and year out, with the exception of roster changes (soo important) and small graphical updates... and your racing games point is mute, because kids play those games too, so i guess you're contradicting yourself saying that viva pinata sucks, but racing games are ok, and both can be played by kids.

Do you think mario sucks? Zelda? What about tetris? that game must have been a huge scam, because its obviously a kids game.

Ahh, so this is infact all about having a problem with your masculinity. Which i figured from the start. And honestly, I dont expect many 15 year old boys to admit to liking this game to much. Its just so much easier and "cooler" to say the game is for kids. So again, to each his own, but I enjoy this game immensely and I am old enough to be your father. I have a son your age, so I guess the term "balls dropped" applied long ago. I also know of many other adults around my age that enjoy this game as well.

So, no need for you to come into a forum that tests your masculinity. You dont like the game and have your opinion about it, thats fine. But dont bash others for liking it, because it truly is a great game for ALL ages.

woah i never started this forum to bash the game...i started it to point out that there is no point for having a forum for just this game..same goes for gow...i think most forums for a single game are a waste of time and most major things end up getting posted into the xbox 360 forum

You have no sense what so ever or have a twisted version of fun, i mean come on now how can you say that viva pinata is not fun? I've been playing this for weeks and i'm still hooked, if you think this is a horrible game, why not discuss your feelings with those who reside in the forum pinata island info. i'm sure they'd welcome your enthusiasm with open arms *sarcasm*. But like I said before, either you have a twisted version of fun or you don't know what a good game actually is, yeah gears is fun, for certain people so is CoD. Viva pinata is the same way, don't come in to this section of the site bringing your negative notions, if you think it's stupid then good for you keep it to yourself, you don't have to come in here you don't have to read anything here. Your opinion is just what it is, YOUR OPINION, therefore should be kept to yourself, especially if your trying to persuade the people who put up this section to take it down. Think buddy, if they put it up they want it there, why in the world would one maybe two people's opinion on how bad you think the game is would even make them take it down in the first place?
