Have you obtained a wildcard pinata?

First off for those that do not know, a wildcard pinata is a very rare version of any pinata in the game. The value of the pinata is 10x the normal value. Only subtle differences can be noticed physically in the appearance of a wildcard, so be sure to look closely at every pinata born into your garden.

So have any of you obtained one of these rarities?

So far I have been romancing a garden strictly full of Badgesicles. I currently have romanced 32 of them and no sign of a wildcard yet. If and when I do finally become the proud pinata parent of a wildcard I will post a photo here.

Ok Viva Pinata Fans!!!! There is talk of Wildcards all over the Pinata world and its time to put XBA on the map as a breeder in the Wildcard Pinata industry!!! For anyone and everyone that has Viva Pinata, lets make a push at getting a wild card for as many of the 60+ species available in the game.

Post here if you would like to help out and which Pinata you are focusing your efforts on. Update us periodically on how many you have bred in your garden, and let us know what number pinata it is when you finally do in fact get the wildcard!!!

This game is off the charts. (Coming from a 34 year old dad!)

Best game I have played to date and I look forward to the updates and downloads that Rare is planning for it.


What I would like to do is as these Wildcards are obtained, get a snapshot of each and then name them after the person that raised it. So the simple way of doing this will be this...

I will set up a clean garden on my 360. If you obtain a Wildcard, you will name it immediately according to your XBA screenname. Once named, you will pack it up into a crate and ship it to me. I will in turn unpack it into the garden, take the picture, and then send it right back to you. No need for me to hold onto it, you earned it. We'll post a gallery of all the Wildcards here in the forum.

Should be a lot of fun!!! So if you have the game now, be sure to keep a look out for these elusive wildcards. Chances of getting them each time you hatch an egg is 1%.

im getting this game very soon, how easy is it to pick up and play? does it take alot of learning?

The game is very easy to pick up and play. It teaches you all the basics in the beginning via a walk through type tutorial system. After that you are on your own. There are so many things to do in this game other than just breeding pinatas. Its definitely an addictive game.

The beginning is learning intensive and does get crowded before you upgrade your farm but
after that its all downhill lol. As long as you keep track of whats going on.

I just got the game, it took 3 weeks to get here :yikes:, but it was worth it.

I didn't know if I was going to like this game or not, but I love it. I'll let you guys know when I get a wildcard pinata

Still no sign of a Wild Card? Does breeding the pinatas with accessories help with the wildcards or is it just totally random?

Last night I got the Dragonache from a garden that I set up just for making loot.
It is pretty barren actually. Just a mine, a workers house , a little pond and some grass.
I was just planting Orchids and Venus traps and harvesting flowers & seeds when the egg appeared. Didn't take long for it to show up either. After the egg showed up I got a chicken and had it hatch the egg.


I guess it is time to start working on breeding. I have really been focusing on getting all the seeds and making loot.


It seems like nobody has yet to discover a wildcard pinata. But you did discover the next clue! As a reward, your next letter in the scramble is C.

Now to find the last clue. It is buried deep within a thread in the Off Topic Lounge. Be carefull though, you don't want to get any bad rep while you are there!

I have yet to romance my own Wild Card, after 500 or so attempts with the Roario and now about 200 Galagoogoo's.

I do however have 15 Differant Wild Cards contained within three gardens. These were all donated to, or traded to the WCF. The Wild Card Roario was even donated by RARE and deliverd by BIGsheep.

The chance of getting a Wild Card is the same with each pinata. The only way to affect the chances is by romanceing a Wild Card, or two Wild Cards for the largest chance. This was verifyed by BIGsheep, (A VP Developer). However the chances don't seem to be increased all that much. Many people have tryed romanceing hundreds of times with a WildCard. One person even tryed romanceing two Wild Card Horstachio's about two hundred times, and nothing. It seems ike it's just pure luck.

Either way good luck to anyone trying. I've seen people get a Wild Card within there first few trys and one person who romanced Ponackys 2241 times before getting her Wild Card.

Ive had two different species of wildcard pinata.

theyre only the crappy little level one things though, lol.

the whirlms are very very easy to get, as soon as i have the master romancer award, just keep breeding them, they always come out as wildcards, also twins. they have frills on either side of thier heads, like the newgats have.

the other species i got was sparrowmint. ive only got one though, it has long feathers on hits head, kinda like horns, it looks so cool!

* Have 6 pinatas in the garden, and collect all the flashing hearts in the romance maze.
* Romance 2 of the 1st version wildcards in the same situation .
* Trade, scan a PVC, invite someone who can create the version to your garden via Xbox Live and ask the person to do the romance game.

not quite sure what the last step means, but now I'm making wildcards like crazy!

Definately a lot easer in TIP than the original game. I guess the special ones are the new wildcards. Anybody see a total black "Ninja" pinata yet?

Yep this game has no value to me anymore, wildcards are, were, supposed to be extremely rare and hard to get, now people are getting them easily, it's not worth playing anymore.
