thats pretty awesome. now the brutes have armor much like the elites did in H2.

i guess those are the things in that one trailer-like thing with the kids at the beginning.

Interesting weapons. The brutes have an assault rifle? Dual swords? And something that looked like a plasma shotgun? Wow.

after seeing this i realise the game will be a dissapointment. not open ended enough, mindless killing of brutes. it just sounds awful

Okay what I gathered from the Doc was that they were expanding on the brutes , not that the game was centered around brutes? HOPEFULLY they use some sense and make Elites,Spartan,brutes,Marines, all playable characters,, because I was only a little excited about this, but the game is still a year away or more ,

this was a documentary about brutes, not the whole Halo 3. thats a very arrogant statement you had there.

The video Doc was about how the Halo 2 Brutes were added late and were just damage
sponges and even the devs hated that. The devs have remade the brutes to actually act
and behave a hell of alot different and be more interactive and make them tactical and more
fun to shoot at. I cant wait to see the new brutes.

There are FOUR grenade types!!!

Looks like the x button might be that shield grenade after all.

I was fairly unimpressed by this video....rather than just a bunch of footage accompanied by pretty songs, I would have liked to hear the dev's talk about the footage we were being shown. It seemed like the video was just incomplete....I mean for the third video release of halo 3 footage...shouldn't I have been a little more awed by what I saw....I could have waited another several months to see a more well glued-together video that teased us a bit...rather than just showing poorly edited/cut scenes of a buncha "new" brutes doing stupid crap.

EDIT: ahh...so it would seem as though GameTrailers.com had one with music...and IGN has one with the devs *shrugs*. I see the light, forgive me.

also, why does everybody be hatin on the arbiter? those were probably my favorite levels of the game! and if they hadnt of had th arbiter playable, then there wouldnt have been a way to fully flesh out the storyline. I think it was a great idea for the devs to put the arbiter in, if only stupid people with a complete lack of insight into the storytelling procees would shut the hell up...
