Warranty now 1 year!

I just read in the newspaper that the 360 warranty has been changed from 90 days to a year. It also said that anyone has paid for repairs on their xbox will be given a full refund. They decided to do this because of the patch over XBL that screwed up a lot of 360's and because the Wii and PS3 both offer 1 year warranties. Woot this means I can get mine fixed with only a small shipping fee.:cheers:

Sucks arse to all the ones that were bought before this without extended warranty.

IMHO makes you think of how they viewed their product or it was a marketing scheme to
pull this card during christmas to up sales quota!

The warranty goes into effect for ALL Xbox 360 consumers regardless of when you purchased it. So thats great news even for those that bought them earlier this year.
