Games not playing

I have a copy of DOA 4 that will not play in my 360 anymore.
Its the only game I have thats scratched up.
I'm wondering if i can just get some disc repair stuff and fix the game if it will work.
Has anyone had this prob before?

My friends rainbow six three stopped working. and he boiled it in water and it helped a little. your probably just better off getting another copy.
