With all the hype around Nintendo's Wii-mote and the PS3's Sixaxis controller in recent months, poor old Xbox 360 owners would probably be feeling sorry for themselves if they weren't waggling their trigger thumbs to stumps playing Gears Of War.

Still, one 360 owner didn't settle for second best. Instead, he bought an accelerometer, slapped it into a 360 controller, and soldered the two together in such a way that he can now mimic one of the analog sticks simply by tilting the controller

I do not fancy a tilt controller! It doesn't seem to add anything to the games I've played for ps3.

Although I have yet to try out the ps3 controller, I really don't feel the need to have a tilt controller. I am open to the idea tho but I really don't care at all that 360 doesn't have it. The ps3 just needed to add something because they lost the rumble feature. That is a cool that someone set it up on a 360 controller. So does one of the analog sticks not work then? Just relies solely on tilting the controller?

No thanks, the left stick doesn't work now except as a button to push down.
