A EB Games store was caught selling one of the BK games which now costs $99 cents for $7.99 USED. But really do we expect much from a retailer.

What's the trade in value of those games? I have all three and I stopped playing them.

EB can charge whatever they want for the games. It sucks, but that's business.
I mean ****, they give you 10 bucks for the game you paid 60 dollars for and then turn around and resell it for 54.

They buy used DVD's but only titles that are in their database that's considered resellable. If you have something that's not in their database, you're up the creek.

So what you can buy the games for 99 cents and they're selling used copies for 7 dollars.
If business was to be fair to the customers, nobody would make money and there would be no business.
How much markup do you think you're paying for something bought from any store? That's money right in their pockets that has nothing to do with the cost of the item.

How much markup are you paying when you buy a car? That's just money in someone's pocket between what you pay and what the dealership paid for the car.

Microsoft will not care what EB is charging for the games.

Good point Reclaimer but I wouldn't know because I don't live in the US but still Good point.

While not 100 percent sure, I'm fairly positive that it is illegal to resell those Burger King games.

It would be marked on the box "Not for resale". Even if it was a promotional item only, somewhere on there, it has to be indicated that resale is not allowed.

EB games should be ashamed of themselves. It's one thing to make a profit, but I mean come ooooooonnnnnnnnnn!

My buddy took one of the BK games into EB the other day and of all the games, that was the one he lost the least on. LOL They gave him $2.00 for it! Not bad to only lose half of what you spent on a game.
