Hello folks,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Vista (atleast Ultimate) works perfectly with Xbox Live. All I did was turned ICS on for my wireless card and bang it worked. I thumbs up M$ for not screwing it up like everyone seems to say

I've been thinking about upgrading to Vista, does anyone know if this works with the home premium edition?

The network features between Ultimate and Home Premium are pretty much the same. Right now I'm just using a trail copy of Vista. I'm going to buy Home Premium and a new Video card come tax time. If you use ICS now in XP, then you should be fine.
Update: I switched my trial over to Home Premium (since thats what I'm going to buy too).
Works like a charm. Exactly the same setup as XP

Thanks for the info predator, in your opinion is it worth my while to get a new computer so I can get vista. Whats your review of the new OS?

I've been running it for a couple days now.
I'd say the OS is worth buying. I'm not sure if you need a new machine though, I have a Compaq SN1750NX (its about 8 month old Athlon64 3500+). If your machine is fairly new (around a year) you should be fine. The only thing I need is a video card, which I needed anyways. I'll give a full review on it once I've run it for a little while longer
