Yeah, but after last years debacle I wouldnt buy this until you've heard opinions or at least rented it. 2K is absolutely horrible with quality in their games since all of their 2k5 games for xbox and the 360. Hockey went down the tubes, and that was their best franchise. EA takes the cake now.

So again, rent!!! Dont buy, until you know you are getting a game that works.

All of the reviews have been positive. I usually go with game informer and they gave it high marks too.

And last years game got mid 8's to 9's....So I dont hold much faith in reviews and usually form my own opinion once the game is in hand. I have no faith in 2K at all, and cant wait to see how bad they screw up the All Pro 2k8 football game. They've screwed everything else up, why not football too.

Wow. NBA 2K7 is a great game. Way better than EA's version. I not only went with the numerical score, I read the actual article and some of the things they describe I find promising. I mean EA is the company as far as sports games go that I have lost faith in. They haven't done a damn thing with Madden since 2004. Their hockey is the only game that competes with 2k. NBALive 07 was a joke. MVP NCAA baseball is trash so I don't know but I think 2K is gettin in EA's ass.

yeah nba2k7 blows nba live out of the water by a mile and a half times a million man. the 2k basketball games are ridiculously better than the ea basketball games and madden blew this year also i have no faith in EA

Eh, basketball I cant say anything about as I cant stand that sport..LOL! So I cant really play the games without unbiased attitude towards the gangster sport, cause thats all it is. A bunch of want to be gansters running around in shorts and tank tops who dont give a crap about the sport.

2K's hockey doesnt even hold a candle to this years EA hockey edition. 2K, which was the best hockey out there is stale, and nothing but money goals year in and year out. Both companies have been stale in the football department for a few years now, but all we have to choose from is Madden in the NFl department, so no arguments there can be made..

MVP Baseball (MLB version) was awesome! The college game had some great features, but got old way to quickly. 2K hasnt gotten it right in the baseball department since World Series 2003, and at that time it wasnt Sega then and not 2K. And they failed yet again last year, with a game that had more technical wrong doings than it did positive anything. Could be why they signed a deal with the lead programmer for MVP baseball to come work for 2K. So forgive my skepticism about 2K, but as far as I am concerned, they cant program a toaster as far as i am concerned.

Yeah I still play MVP 2005. Best baseball game ever.

I agree completely and hopefully with the acquisition of the MVP lead Programmer, 2K takes the direction of MVP. Now that would be awesome.

Not worth 60 bucks. I'll stick with MVP 2005.
