After a few weeks of running Vista I have decided to put together a few tips
If you're using ICS make sure you do the following things
1) setup the NIC the 360 is connecting through is part of the Private network (public will work but the connection will randomly not connect)
2) setup the media extender (its much cooler in vista)
3) make sure to enable media sharing in the network, for some reason simply enabling the extender (which allows you to listen to songs through the extender) does not enable the sharing for normal 360 usage. i.e. in game music
4) make sure to setup the firewall to allow the Xbox live ports. (I will append the post later to include the ports for those that do not know)
5) Take Vista off of its normal power save mode, as it will shut down your nic after about 10 minutes of the actual PC not being used
I will add things as I find them.
