ok, ive been trying to get better at gears but there is something wrong with my strategy somewhere. ( if i knew what it was i wouldnt be typing this) I am just looking for somebody who plays this a lot and knows what they are doing to tell me what i am doing wrong.

I'd help, I was pretty good when I played constantly, but I got sick of it, and I'm now pretty rusty. So, I doubt I'd be much help. Just remember to go for active reloads all the time, especially with sniper and shotgun. Don't try to run up on someone with a weapon that will beat you down (snipe, pistol, torque, etc.) with your shotgun out. If they're decent, they will beat you down. Whip out your pistol instead, two shots and a beat will knock them down. Only chainsaw if you're sneaking up on them. If someone runs up on you with the saw, roll back and pop them to put the saw down, then blast them away from close up, otherwise they get the saw on you.

Those tips should carry you a bit. Other than that, just practice. When you play, you'll know how to move better, you'll be able to see moves before they happen, you'll know when the cover actually covers you, or when they can pull off a shot. It really is practice makes perfect.

I will be on tuesday night after 8pm because thats when i get off of work. I did find a few things ive been doing wrong , but i still am not perfect.
