What's with all the modern games? I think Call of Duty should just stick to WW2. Seems like all the WW2 games are switching over to modern desert storm type games.

I saw the trailer while watching the NFL draft today and I was impressed. I was doing other stuff at the time and waited till the end to see what game it was.

Seemed to me that many people said that COD3 was the same old thing and WW2 games were getting old. I say it's great to have a change, keeps things fresh.

You heard wrong. The campaign is alright, but in the multiplayer they tried to turn it into BF2, and failed miserably.

Also, I think they jumped the gun a bit. Ever noticed that there are almost no good Vietnam or Korean war games? I think they should make games of that era, instead of trying to make another BF2 clone.

i heard hte CoD3 muiltiplayer is a bit like the CoD 1 expansion for PC, with vehicles and whatnot. if so, i'm excited. that game was nothing like battlefield. (better)

That's true. Almost any good war game is modern or WW2, none of them are Vietnam or really any other war.

I love Call Of Duty 3's offline gameplay. I just couldnt get into the online portion. I might go back and try again at a later date. I am sort of getting tired of Call of Duty myselft anyway.
