The people at EA are trying to make this game the most realistic skating sim. There aiming to make you feel like you really are skating. Check this site out

I have known about Skate for a while now. it looks like a good game, i love the tonyhawk games and i am betting i will like this one to.

I liked Project 8 a lot... hopefully this will be the start of great competition, forcing both parties to step it up and create some amazing new games.

i think that Skate is going to allow activision to start innovating more, instead of using 3 games to get to a certain point they can do it all in one game.

but if we innovate to much, there wont be anything left to innovate, so this game could be a blessing in the short run but a curse in the long.

Hopefully 'Skate' will be good..I was really dissappointed with Project 8. To me it was to glitchy..

Yep, if Skate is a legit force in skating games, it will only help out the gamers that like skating games. Tony Hawk games are freaking awesome but I would like to play something more realistic every once in a while. From what I gather Skate will be a bit more realistic than Tony Hawk, but hey Forza is a blast and so is Burnout. I say bring em all on.

i've been waiting sooooooooooooooooo long for a realistic skateboarding game. fingers crossed for EA Skate. From what I've seen & heard, it should not disappoint.
