Here's my problem... Can I transfer my xbox live gamertag profile to my xbox 360 profile?
Here's the detail..
When I had my regular xbox.. i played on xbox live under a gamertag that i created when i first setup xbox live. Well, I lost interest in xbox live, and didn't play for 2 years. (although i still have been paying for my account)
I got my xbox 360 for x-mas.. and have been playing it for 6 months. Without hooking it up to xbox Live. I created the same profile name as my original xbox gametag account name.
So this weekend i decided to setup the network and get the xbox360 hooked into xbox live.
I signed in.. and I clicked the "claim gamertag" and entered in my info.. and it created a "NEW PROFILE" on my xbox360.. when I wanted it to attach it to my existing xbox 360 profile.
So now i have two new profiles on my xbox360... with the same name. And my xbox live account.. has zero gamer points, and none of my saved games associated with it. And my original profile has all my gamer points and saved information...
Is there anyway to transfer my xbox live gamertag to the existing profile I have been using on xbox360 since I originally been using?
