If you already have an existing account, and you redeem another code for one month, does this replace your account, or does it add to it? I have some one month free cards, and redeems one code. My yearly subscription isn't popping up, and says the only membership I have is one month... anyone else run into this? Did I just **** myself out of 50 bucks???

i think one month cards only work if you make a new gamertag.

What I am saying is, I just redeemed the code on top of my 12 month subscription (the logic here being that I thought I would then have 13 months on my live account), but not under memberships it only says one month... did I just **** myself out of 50 bones, or do you think it will come back up when the one month is dried up?

I don't see why it wouldn't convert back to the 12-month subscription once the one month trial is over. I guess it doesn't add on that way, you must have to wait until it goes to a silver account to be able to add the one month trials.

Once the one-month is over just switch back to your 12 month and you should be okay. If not then call Microsoft and ***** them out.

You're fine. Once you enter that code you have twelve months coming. You may have to make a new gamertag but I'm guessing you won't.

i already had a 12 month subscription under my gamertag... i redeemed a one month, thinking i could get 13 total months, and now it says my account is only one month, not twelve not thriteen, but one.

Oh I get it! Listen, call 18004myxbox and just make sure everything is okay. They're pretty good with their customer service.

Exactly...I had a problem with my Zune with something similar to this (Zune is a Microsoft Product) and they fixed the problem. They are very good and getting you back on track, so, go with customer service. 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

I don't think it adds on like that, but if at the end of the month your gamertag expires and you revert to a silver, just call 1-800-4my-xbox and they'll sort it out, it sounds similar to my problem but different, mine was I had set up a separate account and it had reverted both that account and my twelve month one, I called them they did some of their magic and I was back up online. so just wait it out, if it does switch back then call them assuming they'll work their magic for you as they did for me it'll be all good, but if it just adds on then post it here brotha cuz I have a few one month cards ma self xD
