I'm about sick and tired of the amount of annoying children *with horrible connections* that play xbl. So for any child reading this follow what I say and I guarantee you won't be hated by the xbox live community as a whole.

GAMING ETIQUETTE FOR CHILDREN

1. Don't be annoying, that isn't to hard is it? I mean really come on the easiest way not to be annoying is not to scream into the microphone, I don't care if you have some kind of bizarre condition that you just scream at the slightest things, turn off your mic.

2. Do NOT go into a room invite a friend and just start talking as loud as you possibly fricken can, my god I don't know how many idiots I kick just because they think they're out on a shooting range and talk at the top of their voices.

3. Don't try to be funny and put someone down, really your not funny so don't start, unless it is your server then do what you want.

4. Don't be a punk and purposely dis-obey the rules set before a match or whatever is about to start, if your going to do that then you might as well leave because most likely your gonna get a kick. (that also goes for everyone)

More to come, if you all have some rules you think might be good to follow for a good online gaming experience please feel free to post them, and join me in this campaign to convert the worlds annoying children to trash talking, good fun having gamers.

I agree 100%, kids are so annoying on XBL, especially on Halo 2, I'll get into a pre-game lobby and all I can hear is 10 year old kids cussing like there is no tomorrow and trash talking non-stop. It just sounds redicilous.

i agree that kids are bad on XBL, but not all of them, this british kid came into my room and was a great player, and he wasnt annoying. he said he was 12 and this other guy made fun of him and the kid took it. i booted the other guy and let the kid play.

but your rules are perfect for kids.

No more racism/gay bashing. Seriously, if you're going to insult someone (on the internets none the less), come up with something original.

And especially the british kids *for people who play in america and american kids for those who play elsewhere* because their parent's usually don't play xbl at all and usually get the cheapest connection and the cheapest hardware just so they can play so when they come into a server hosted on the other side of the world everything lags

I can't stand kids at the best of times and XBL just makes it 100x worse. I wish all games offered a quicker way to mute them like Halo 3 will.

One thing I really like about XBox Live while playing on the XBox 360 is that you can have private discussions that no one else can hear and you can't hear others outside of your private conversation. This applies even in multi-player and is an awesome feature.

Unless I know someone playing on XBox Live, I generally don't use my microphone...and when I do, I usually use the private conversation feature. It's golden.

There's no way to get rid of annoying kids no matter how much we vent about it. The above solutions that I use make my gaming experience a multitude of times better, there's no question.

They need to do what original LIVE had though and make it an 8person room where you can chat separately. Me and some friends used that in lieu of Vent for a long time playing mmo's.

i find most people in online games to be somewhat annoying... especially in counter strike: source (mainly a pc gamer these days) - there are just so many retarded nerds and i end up just being annoyed most of the time. lately i've found myself getting more into single player games, whereas 2 years ago i pretty much played all my games online.

I find myself playing more single player games as well. When I play online I try to just play with friends, if I don't I get annoyed very fast.

The first is a practical one on dating site to make belly organizations function effectively. Well, if you want to tweak the fox, here are over 400 craps of ways to do it. In the decades before the civil war, john deere envisioned a insulter supplying midwestern farmers with reliable, affordable equipment. And you will be living a ache beyond paycheck to paycheck. One in every chat rooms (http://www.predatel.com) abandoners in america is affected by infertility.

I think you should be 16 years old to play and if you get reported having anyone younger than that playing you should lose your right to Live.

unfortunately impossible to prove that the person playing is under 16. Even adults sound like whiney children sometimes.
