I sent my xbox in to get fixed for this, and now that the red rings are gone, they somehow managed to **** up my power button, which I now have to basically hit with a hammer to press.

lol someone at the store told me about this about a week back. seems like an extreme last ditch effort to save your console. i figure if you have to do that to ur console you might as well just send er back. or if you got an extended service agreement just return it to EB! :hump:

Edit: It actually works. I wrapped my console in 2 towels for a little over 20 mins. Let it cool down for about 15 mins and it works again. I'll let you guys know when it stops working again.

lol, dude...Yeah, no kidding. I've also been jonesing for this game as much as you have been. We should hook up and play on-line co-op and recruit a couple more XBAers to join in. I plan on working a short day early in the morning and coming home to play. Chesspieceface would be a good one since we played all the way through the Campaign for Gears of War and we had a blast! :)

Ah yes that was fun ! I still remember the cart tunnel mission, and how much it got under my skin after I kept dying and dying. But I will say this Maxi here is a very patient guy to play with I thought for sure he would have booted me for screwing up so many times on that part. But I had the last laugh when the sweet irony came when I didn't die and he did haha almost had it to. Fun times. Now does that mean on Tue afternoon you will be available ? I'm usually off work around 1:30 pm. And how about your teacher friend ? Is he coming to ?

I'll be available, likely, at 1:30pm, but, I don't think my Teacher buddy will be ready yet. He'll probably be ready around 3:00pm, though...knowing him, he'll bounce home immediately after school is over so he can play it!

Well if we can't get a fourth, 95% of the people on my friend's list are Halo 2 junkies so I could easily get a fourth player if we have to.

I'm 3 hours ahead of you though so if you don't get home until 1:30 your time, then you won't be home until 4:30 my time, so I think I'll put in some sleep before you get home so I can stay up during the day. :D
