Favorite dialogue quotes from Halo 3.

What's your favorite quotes from the game? I mean, the Marines are really chatty in this game and surely they say something that stands out.

One thing I heard was after dropping a Brute was "Hey, I should shave him and see if we're related."

Another was a really funny conversation in the Crows Nest level, on your way to clear the barracks, one Marine is yelling through a door to another to let him in.
"Let me in!"
"What's the password?"
"Password?"
"You might be the enemy!"
"But I'm not"
"You might be captured and being held hostage!"
"Let me in please!!"

Another, after I melee'd several enemies to death.
"Sir, I admire you skull cracking abilities, can I be your friend?"

Honestly, I've heard a ton of funny lines, but, the only one I can remember at the moment was when I took a Warthog from a Marine who was driving and he said:

"Well, okay, be careful, I just got finished paying it off".

Yea I like it when I took guns or the warthog or any other vehicle away from the marines and they'd say silly stuff. I just can't remember them all. :)

I got one after I stuck a Brute when 5 of them were coming at me...

Once I ran over like 5 grunts and the Marine in my passenger side said,
"Thats Right! THAT just happened!"
which is funny because thats what we said in line when people were passing us in their cars.

As I was doing Tsavo Highway, I hit a ramp and caught some air while driving a warthog and one of the marines said "Ghost Ridin the Whip."

During the middle of The Ark when you mount up in the tank brigade and you first start your fight, one of your passengers will call out as you blow stuff up.

"Tank beats Ghost..."
"Tank beats Hunters"
"Tank beats Phantom"
After you next kill:
"Tank beats everything!"

More cross reference dialog from the book "Fall of Reach" occurs.
"Ok Marines, lets police up the weapons."

Cortana's "I can play games too" occurs in both the game and the book.
So does "You are the lucky one."

A lot of dialog repeats itself between the book and Halo 3, mostly the banter among the Marines and a lot of Cortana's little bits and pieces.

As for the password dialogue,.... when i got to that door, they were arguing about letting him in, and he said something like:

"well i was out here so i wasn't in the meeting"

"Master Chief is here, let us in"
"Does he know the password?"
"He wasn't in the meeting either!"

One I found funny was when a marine jumped in a warthog drivers seat and said "Get in I have candy!"

I haven't actually seen this, but my friend found it on the last level if i remember correctly.

Basically, you are escaping in your hog and theres a grunt near an edge. If you get out and and walk up to him he says something like...

"Demon! The jerk store called and they are all out of you!"

I still have to go hunt it down.
