Blacksite released today in the US. It should be available in Canada tomorrow. I'll be getting it. Anyone here have it? Is it any good?

The demo was pretty good, I'll be getting this and Assassin's Creed on Thursday.

I've been spending a small fortune on games so I'm going for Blacksite and Mass Effect. Maybe Creed if there is a demo and it's good.

Assissan's creed is going to be good I don't think they really need a Demo to sell this game.

That's true. So far the reviews have been great. I'm just not sure it is my kind of game. I should have been more clear on that.

Oh ok I see what you mean but before you make up your mind if you are going to get it or not wait until you read Kamshaft-xba review which should be out this week.

I talked to Stephen earlier today, he wants to post it tonight at midnight if all goes well.

Can't wait to read it, he only has good things to say about the game.

@ GamerSince'76 - I know what you mean, there are a lot of must have games coming out this month. And I will also be picking Mass Effect.

I'm probably going to get it. I should have $100 after that for smokes and parking money for the next week and a half 'till payday. Yeah, the game is supposed to live up to the hype so I'll get it.

I'm having second thoughts about getting BlackSite now, just read IGN's review they gave it a 6.4 out of 10.

I read that too. Even Assassin's Creed has gotten some low reviews. I'm still getting Blacksite.

I got the game and it's really good. The best description of the game and most fitting is that it's like a summer blockbuster movie, it may not be the best movie ever but it's fun while it lasts. The feeling of battling alien bugs that are taller than buildings is amazing.

The graphics are a mixed bag, better outdoor environments than in but the graphics are still really decent. A humvie I was riding in was sitting up in the air, not really high but high enough for me to notice it. Hopefully there aren't too many more glitches.

All said it's a really good game.

EDIT: ROFL I just walked right through a pickup truck. Another glitch.
