I love this game, Portal was awsome. However there are alot of challenging moments in this game, weither it be a puzzle or how to kill a certain enemy. I'd like this thread to be for help with the Orange Box.

I'll start off by asking for help on how to beat the final lvl of Half Life 2. The one were the compine leader dude is trying to get away in the portal machine. I can get all the way up to him, but once I get there I don't know what to do...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.:hail:

Are you talking about at the very top of the building?

Yes at the top when the two choppers start to attack you.:nightmare:

I need to know what to do after I kill them...in order to stop him from teleporting!

This game is a must buy, strictly for Portal.

You have to use your GravGun and pick up the Energy Balls and shoot them at the portal.

Ah thanks, some times the obvious eludes me >.>

Now on to Episode One! (God I love this game):D

I blought this yesterday, I had already beat Half Life 2 on PC, but playing episode 1 and episode 2 really impressed me. Especially episode 2, probably the best story mixed with a FPS or any game for that matter, that I've seen in a long time, I can't wait for Episode 3 and most likely 4 to come out.

Portal was cool but I beat it in one night, too short in my opinion. Team Fortress looks cool, but I don't have Live anymore, so looks like I'll never play it.


I would rate the story and the players connection to it as only being matched or surpassed by FF7 and maybe a few other games at most. Excellent.

Yes, The Orange Box is definitely my favorite game right now, loads of awesome gameplay mixed with plenty of memorable moments, especially in Episode 2.

Portal was amazing, but very frustrating at times when going for gold in all the challenges, Apature Science was near impossible to get.

So far I've unlocked all the achievements for Episodes 1, 2, and Portal. Just need eleven more (2 for HL2, 9 for TF2) and I'll have all 99! :hardcore:

Edit: Got 'em all for HL2, I'll have to wait and get the other ones for TF2 when I get Live again. Until then 90/99 is good enough for me.
