Anyone else having this issue? Variation told me it might have been the last update, just wondering if anyone else is on the verge of setting their town on fire because of this...:bang:

Strange.. considering yesterday I plugged my iPod into my 360 to hear some music and the 360 automatically downloaded an update to play files from an ipod.

Ya that's the media update, I already have that.

Does it play Itunes songs?

Sorry its not working for you there. I'm not sure why it won't work, it's pretty much a cut and dry ordeal. Plug it in, get the update, done deal.

I suppose you can make sure you have the latest firmware on your iPod.

Ya it used to work fine, then a few days ago, i plug it in and it won't read it. I'll check the software update on the player itself.

I don't know if it's already mentioned, but I don't think the iPod will allow purchased music to be transfered to the 360, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

As for the firmware? Sync up to iTunes and if it's out of date, it will update.
But you knew that.

So what does it play? Like music you have burned to the Ipod from a CD?

Essentially it'll play straight to the 360 all music that is not DRM protected. You can use the 360 to control the iPod.
I haven't messed with it enough though to see if it actually transfers non-DRM music to the 360's media folder. I guess I can check tonight.
I just like using my 360 to run my iPod because it runs through my home theater and sounds great.

Oh okay. That's what I meant when I said it doesn't work on my 360. I thought they had a way where the itunes downloads played on the 360.
