Hahaha can you tell I am bored and surfing eBay. Here is a complete set of Eternal Sonata faceplates. The seller has one left in his current listing. I can personally vouch for him as being a good seller since he is the one I bought my set from. I have an extra set that will most likely be the prize for our New Year/New Forums Faceplate Contest in January. Well, and a copy of the game.

That's a great deal.

Guys, there's a lesson to be learned here. If there are plates that are in any kind of quantity at all, wait until the buzz does down and you can get them for half the price. Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon and Ace Combat are all going for half of what they once were.

The same rule does NOT apply to more strictly limited editions like the Trusty Bell or ltd. Ace Combat plates, or any of the MS team plates. Those only go up. Now Zero Hour plates HAVE dropped a lot, but that's because when they came out there weren't really any plates to choose from. But there were three thousand of them, which is why they're now $50 and not the $150 they were two years ago.

different people like different faceplates
The plate I most want at the moment is MotoGP06. I know who made it, I just don't know who to ask to sell me one

I know with Star Wars figures, oftentimes a signature will increase the value of a low priced item (because it adds value) but it will decrease the value of a rare item (because it's no longer mint).

I don't know why a signature on a plate would make it more valuable. I"m talking about plates signed by industry people. Bill Gates would be one thing, but J Allard or Peter Moore? They're at every freakin' game event, happy to meet with people, and will sign anything. I mean, I never hope to ever have George Lucas' signature on anything, but Jeff Bell? I could get it in a week just by asking.

Eh, I dunno about that. I have a J Allard sig on my 360 memory card that I treasure, and sure it aint as 'known' as a Gates signature or something, to a gamer, it really means a lot to me, as would a Moore autograph.

Yeah, I have the fellowship of the ring signed and I cherish it, but mostly because my grandfather gave me the set.
