(Associated Press) On December 13, 2007 at approximately 3:10 P.M. C.S.T. RAAM passed away after repeatedly being shot in the head with a sniper rifle. He leaves to mourn a few locust horde that reportedly still remain alive.
RAAM came into this world on November 7, 2006 and shortly thereafter met GamerSince'76. GamerSince'76 loved Gears of War but became frustrated by repeatedly trying to kill RAAM and failing. GamerSince'76 traded Gears of War in and the game became a distant memory but one of failure.
After coming back to the beautiful, vibrant world of Xbox 360, as GamerSince'76 owned a PS3 for 9 months, the defeated gamer was looking for a decent shooter and decided to meet nemisis RAAM once again.
"After dying like 10 times I decided to just use the sniper rifle on RAAM. I saw that even though the Kryll were around him the aiming recticule was still red at times so I knew the shots must be getting through. No grenades, no Torque Bow, just the sniper rifle and moving away from RAAM by staying in the light".
When asked what it felt like to finally kill RAAM the weary gamer responded "I shot him about 12 times, not even in the head, I wasn't even zooming. All of a sudden I see this animation and it's not me dying, it's RAAM. I was so excited".
Gamersince'76 was asked how he is going to celebrate. "I'm going to pick up my wife at work and tell her I finally killed RAAM and how much I love Gears. She won't be interested but right now I'm on top of the world".
