any body out the heard of controller conection probs, lights spin as if they are trying to connect but then just flash. if you turn off console the controller turns of as well. any help please

turn on system
push round button on system beside memory card slot
hold small round button on top the the controller
Voila, controller+system are synched.

As I browse the different sections of the trouble shooting arena in this place I must say its the trouble that has decided to shoot me off instead. Both me and my friend had forgettable memories of the xbox and every now and then it would get a problem. We are tired of browsing the troubleshooting options, looks like the other alternatives could have made the difference.
