I think this game just came out. Has anyone played it or downloaded the demo? I plan on downloading it when I get home this evening.

The reviews have been awful.

i havent heard a damn thing id like to try but to rent is 10 bucks for a game that sucks no thanks

and to buy, then trade in and thats crappy too.

Well 2K wanted to compare their All-Pro 2k8 to Madden and say it was real football. That game was HORRIBLE!!!!! They need to go make an Amped 4 and give up football. There is no way 2K can make a game to compare with Madden, especially when they have no NFL License. Sorry, but 2K quality pretty much died with 2K5.

As for NFL Tour.....terrible game. I was looking forward to it, but after playing the demo I am glad I didnt waste $40 on it. It feels unfinished and clunky. Granted its just a demo, but definitely not a good first impression.

Well the game is a watered down version of NFL Blitz, if you like Blitz games. The announcers are very reptitive and they do tend to say the same thing over and over again and admit to it, which I laugh at. Graphics are not great and you can basically get all the achievements in 2 days. I'd rent it like I'm doin thru gamefly, or whatever service you use and don't waste your 40 bucks on this game.

I played it at a friend's house because he rented it and it's basically a cross between Blitz and NFL Street. The online play is stupid, it's all about having a good running back and then just run through hitting A and plowing everyone over. There is like no depth to the game though, the character customization sucks and the playbooks have like 30 plays. I'd say it could be worth a rent though, it's fun for about 1 day.
