The only 360 game I really play is TF2 a Live shooter & my skills seem to fluctuate, sometimes, more than often I play & my god, everyone will want me on their team, I am Daddy Pwnage & thats being honest. But less often, but still quite common, I will suck, not because of the enemys are stronger or anything, I just suck, my aim is off, my judgement is bad & my character class choices just never work out, I mean, does this make me a poorly skilled player? & what about you guys, are you really awesome players, do you pretend you are or do you honestly suck? (& this is about any Live game)

I'm not going to lie, I'm really good at FPS's, I'm good at Halo 3, as well as COD4, and pretty much any other FPS on the Xbox. I guess if you're good at one FPS, it comes naturally for the rest. But I do have off days where it just seems like my thumb is having a mind of it's own and my accuracy will be off.

For me it depends on the day and the game... COD 4 i suck at search and destroy, i am a great target to shoot at, as far as sports games you would be hard pressed to get me, i mean im almost unstopable on live sports games.:sleeping::cheers::hardcore:

Really depends on the game. Im not that great at Halo (unless in a Warthog), but I'm quite good at COD4/TF2 etc.

Decent at racing games (better at Burnout style than Forza)

Suck hard at RTS, like probably the worst you'll ever see. Doesnt matter what RTS game.

Decent with RTS's

Exceptionally good at FPS's I can pick up the controller learn the controls and do a decent job in just an hour of playing a new fps so I would say that's pretty good, I used to rock out to RSV but then halo 3 came out then cod4 and mass effect so I haven't played rsv in a while. CoD4 i'm good at, depending on the gun I use, and how interested I am into playing the game. I mean if i'm bored i'm not going to play at my best. Team hardcore is hard for me, seeing as I used martyrdome and everyone loved just running over my dead body to get blown up. And by everyone I mean my team everyone >.>.

So really I think i'm good, not the best, but good with fps's.

Fighting games like doa4 i was awesome in, but like rsv all these new games came out so I ended up playing those and started to suck in doa sooo....

You see I only really play shooters on Live, games like Racing ones I am very good at & enjoy a lot, but they seem to atract a lot of *******s & I only really play footy games, which I suck at anyway.

By *******s i'm guessing you mean the guys that like to **** everyone up purposely IE: driving backwards... I'm one of those guys xD I think it's hilarious.

It just depends on the game and the circumstances. I play realistically, the closer the game is to being realistic, the better I do.
COD4 - Hardcore, I actually do quite well. Nothing amazing, but I have good runs.
Rainbow Six, not too bad there. Depends on the gun I'm using, the map I'm on.

Which pretty much dictates a lot of games. Map I'm on, weapon I'm using, game style and other conditions.

If I'm on a rocking team I do very well. If my team sucks, I'm pretty much down the tubes too.

I consider myself blessed in all types of games except for puzzlers and RTS's. I constantly find myself picking up a game for the first time and shutting out someone who has been playing it for a couple months or so. Not to brag...just trying to be honest.

So it seems most of you guys are good under certain conditions, you see TF2 has tryed to stop that, because classes have their specific arsenals meaning you choose a character rather than a weapon & you choose a character to compinsate the map too.

& it's not the people who drive backwards, It's the people who just get in your way or try to make you crash during the whole race, simply because they dont like your gamertag. (yes that actually happened).

I'm good at COD4 when playing anything other than hardcore but when playing hardcore I suck ass. I'm pretty good at Halo 3, but I don't play it that often to really be great at it. Sports games like Madden 08 and College Hoops 2K8, I'm really good at. I'm okay at RTS games like Command & Conquer 3 but it requires to much time for me to really play it that often.

That's exactly what it is. It just boils down to circumstance. Even if I can control many variables like equipment load out, map type and game type... the more variables I can favor, the better I do. The less variables in my favor, the worse I do.
That's pretty much it. True skill is just a small factor. Variables are (I believe) a greater factor.

I seem to be on and off playing fps's. Yesterday I was playing cod4 and i won two matches in a row with 30 and 22 kills, and when i left that group i was only getting like 9 kills. I was amazed how well i was doing when i started playing some halo 3 after not playing it for about a month.

Well in my eyes i'm pretty good. In other peoples eyes they say I cheat, mod, or i'm an admin or developer.. haha

I love FPS! And i'm usually the top dog!

Yeah I found that with TF2, one match I'd end the match with like 60 points, the next match I'd walk away with less than 30
