Okay what i am about to say is not total BS. Just thought i would get that out of the way. I have been playing oblivion since it came out and never had this problem (and never want to have it again). I recently got the GOTY edition.
I have a lvl 44 argonian (custom class), and lately some wierd crap has happened. First i did the Molag Bal quest, and when i spawned back at the shrine after dying, i clicked to 3rd person, and my model wasn't there! Now that just freaked me out but i got over it. I went back to scare the guy who killed me (whole coming back from the dead thing) and after a short introduction of my mace to his face, i walked away happy and content. then i jumped for no reason at all (just felt like it) and then walked a little bit and then clicked back out to 3rd person. my model wasn't there again, but this time it was about ten feet behind me suspended in mid air.
This happened for a while, but seemed to go away when i fast travelled. The last glitch is so evil that i would have rathered that the 360 caught fire then have it happen ever again. after a while i checked my stats page and noticed a drop in skills and general stats. perplexed i went to the page where it displays all effects currently applied to your character. What i saw was horrific. The only effects were from the items in my inventory. Thats it, no water breathing, no resist for poison and the like, hell even my warrior birthsign bonuses are gone.
If anyone has ever had this happen and fixed it, please tell me cause i really don't want to have to tank my character up to that much power again (i dont have more then and hour or two a day for playing).
