I can't play GH III on anything higher than easy right now(We just got it last night). It's hard to hit the Blue Key, so I stay away from medium; but I want to improve. Yeah I know I just got it but I'm extremely competitive and want to play against some people online.
Anyone have any tips on what position my fingers should be in -- or should I say what positioning do you use that works best for you?
Heck I'm willing to try anything to be able to play on more than three buttons.

Pointer finger stays on green, pinky stays on blue. Don't move your hand and keep fingers on the keys.

Just assign each finger to a button, index = green, middle = red, ring finger = yellow and pinky = blue.

Thanks, I'll give it a whirl. It's hard to not move your fingers off of the keys though. I have to get used to it, because when I started the other day I was moving my fingers in between the keys.

My advice is to find a song that has a lot of 4th finger ( Blue ) keys and just practice that song until you get really used to that 4th finger. That's how I am getting used to multiple keys.

to be honest man i think the best advice is put the darn thing on expert and just rock the hell out of 1 song over and over until you get the basics, it will frustrate the hell out of you, but trust it will help

I've just been getting 3 stars on every star now I'm at a point where I cant even get past a playlist greatest band on earth playlist i think the one with The metal

He can really play, his skill level seems somewhat identical to Conrad's(from the link I posted).
Conrad has followers all over Youtube. It's hilarious.
