View Full Version : Xbox 360 issues! Help. Advice?

Every time I put in a game into my 360 it goes to the "put this disk in a XBOX 360 console" after ejecting and putting it back in about 5 times it works but then I get alot of dirty disk errors, at least 1-2 a day, and maps on games take incredibly long to load, by the time there done the game is at least 5-10 seconds in. Any advice for a self fix or will xbox repair this kind of problem even though I dont have the red ring of death?

This happened to my original Xbox.
It might be best to run a DVD
disc cleaner through the drive.

Well it seems that the problem is with the disc slot but i dont really know how you would be able to fix it.

I wonder how many people, have had faulty disc drives. :watchout:

i think the dvd disk cleaner should work, if not you can always look on xbox.com/support or just give them a call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

Ya i just ended up calling MS. They are gonna fix it i was just worried they may not since its not the RROD. Now to only hope it gets here for Vegas 2 or at least not to long after.

I have this same problem but I don't think it is severe as you have it. It seems like any time I put in Halo 3 it says to put this game in an Xbox 360 console. I have to just restart around 3-5 times and it works. No slow loading times for me though.

Thats how it started for me. First every so often then id have to enter and reinter my disk 3 times every time i tried to play then it got to the point where it happends every time and it takes like 7 enter and renters then when it does works things loads slow. Hope the same dosnt happen to you though.
