TMNT, is it harder on XBLA

Maybe this is just me, but i don't remember this game having a the level of difficulty that it has in its original form.

Don't get me wrong the game is not hard, it just seems harder then b4, and if thats the case than that means they can change original games when making the xbla games and if thats the case can they add new levels and challenges to some of our favorites.. how awesome would that be....

I always loved this game in the arcade but I couldn't beat it. Now on the Xbox, I can beat it so maybe it is just me getting better at games or maybe they made it easier. I don't know.

I was about to say da same thing ya dig! I personally felt the difficulty was bumped up a few notches, however that is understandable with the unlimited amount of continues.
In the Arcades back in the day, you were going to drop no less than 5 beans, ... err... dollars from beginning to end on the game.
And that final Krang & Shredder boss fight has to be quite possibly the cheesiest quarter sucker of all times! All Shredder had to do was hit you with his mutant shrinking gun 1 time and your done just like that.
It's still a classic nonetheless! :cheers:

This game is down right fun to play with friends on co-op, and yea its much easier than the original, for sure.

I think the game is really fun to play still. I do get some lag over Xbox Live, so that can add to the difficulty. The game does get much harder when you have more then 2 people playing at the same time, however.

Welcome to XBA pluto! :cheers: That "Not getting Shrinked" Achievement is just not worth it IMO. You have to play this whole game to the end boss just to attempt to get this 1 achievement is not worth how cheesy Shredder is.
He robbed us for our quarters at the Arcades, and at home on XBLA is no different. I would really like to know how anyone that has this achievement did it.
Because it was really hard to avoid that fools turtle shrinking gun!

I think it's a little harder but I've not had a chance to play it in co-op since I've been back conected to Live... I almost got the shrink achievement but right before I beat him he got me, pissed me off.

If your trying to get it, i'm game if we can get 2 other compatant players to run with us. I cant go through this game again with some fools not playing the game how it's supposed to be done with team work. It's just time wasted, because it consumes alot of time to get to the end, the lose, and then try again.
Getting past the last level for the achievement not to get frozen was a beeotch too, but I managed to get that one.

According to my games list I last played this game on 03/16/07! :eek: Damn, almost a year and a half ago! WOW!
I have 9 of 12 achievements.
Only ones im missing are these 3:

Strategy
Defeat Krang's robot, losing 10 health or less.
