Gears of war 2 has been announced for November of this year.. my question to you is do you think this game is going to be a bust, another part two of a game that was great the first time around but the second time is like why did i buy this game...

Or is Gears of War the New Halo and will go onto Gaming immortality and Greatness...

anyways i gotta tell you i used to be the biggest halo fan you can meet...
but after gears came out it showed a new titan, in my opinion and i get ragged on all the time... for saying this.. Gears has surpassed halo..
the style of fighting, that it shows its much more intense.. the blood and gore factor alone showed gamers a new step up in realism, gears created such a hostile enviroment..and the fighting style creates a scenario where you.., just have to survive .. its very intense as your fighting the opponent not only that but you have to worry about the guys next to you... i think gears is a lot better expirience online... than halo because at times halo feels cartony, and very slow...
to me they both stand out on there own i pay, tribute to halo because if it wasnt for that game... the online community wouldnt be like it is today nor the games... but to me i feel like the torch has been passed to Gears ... i know a lot of people who bought halo 3 and in less than two months whent back to Gears... but i can only speak on my perspective ... to me halo was a pioneer to a better gaming expirience to me ... Gears came out as the new game.. standars... and if im incorrect but the co-op level of games and gore of games whent up when gears came... out..

so i cant speak on gears 2 but in my opinion i think gears 2 will out sell halo 3.. and come out on top with a huge following--and will continue to show... a great reason why gears will sell xbox's...

I love GEARs and so does my wife believe it or not... and she hates halo, i think she is looking forward to Gears 2 more than I am i just hope they dont mess it up somehow...it is alot easeir to mess up a good game then it is to actually make it better

I agree infact we have witnessed it with, Gears 1 because remember. When Gears came out it had a minimum level of glitches and to invite friends wasnt there but they could atleast find you in ranks... after a while update after update after update kept, messing up the game.. im glad they made some glitch tricks hard but it really.. made the game a bit annoying cause with the new upgrades it brought new problems ... so ... hopefully they dont mess up gears2 .. and they've used gears 1 as a way to better themselves ..

Dude, I am so loking forward to this game, this is one of my fav. games. I've seen a few vids on some of the improvements that they have made to the game and I am liking them... But we all know how people can hype up things to look so awesome and then they suck. I had a bad experience with a game like that (begins with an h and end with 3). so I am just anxciously waiting for this Gears 2.

I'm pretty sure judging by the success and popularity of the first game, they know what they need to live up too. I honestly hope it's at least on par with the first game, I don't care about it being better than by a long shot, but so long as it's as enjoyable as the first one I will be pleased.

I totally agree with you. I don't care which is better as long as I enjoy the game from start to finish. I am a person that it doesn't take much to get me into a game as long as I can enjoy it and it gives me something that I can't get in real life.

It is going to be amazing. I cant wait for it to come out. GTA IV and GOW 2 are the two biggest games coming out this year(that I can think of right now).

I hope Gears 2 will be better.
The campaign for the first one was good, but
the multiplayer wasn't too much fun for me.
If the second one is boss, maybe it'll turn me
into a Gears fan, who knows?
I really hope the live up to the "traingun" hype.

all i know is that GoW 2 better kick some freaking Rear End, again i was reading more about it and they will be introducing new characters and they have upgraded the unreal engine that the game is run on and added so much more depth and there is so much more available to the design team that there really are no excuses for this game not to be the #1 game on the 360 ever;)

i wanna know about, the damn online they almost never talk about the online i know the game is gonna be great but, i just cant wait to hear the new features.

i am thinking they are not talking much about it on purpose, we all know the online of the first one was/is great and so they want to be careful not to release to much info on it so as not to discourage any one who may not like what they may have changed or added.

although i do believe it will be more than 4 player i think i read something about the fact that with the new engine they can generate more AI that will actually think and interact, so it may be something like missions as well as vs multi player (if that makes sense)
