I've been playing dynasty mode using my Washington Nationals, and it seems to be another good addition to the 2K game series. They did a great job creating a new pitching and hitting style using the control stick that reflects the rhythm of pitching and swinging the bat. With some more practice I'm thinking "Blastings" Milledge makes a run for MVP.
Anyone else playing this?

I had actually heard bad things about it so I have avoided it thus far. Most of what I had heard revolved around the game regressing in several areas. Most did praise the pitcher/batter matchup, though.
Based on the mags and people on here, I skipped it.

The patch was released today and addressed many of the framerate problems this game was plagued with. I have to say it made a huge difference. I would highly recommend this game to any baseball fan now that the patch has been released.

That is great news because I ordered it off ebay over the weekend. Hopefully it will be here in time to play by this weekend. :hump:

Yeah, the patch helped a good deal, and I think the innovations of the game can finally shine through now that the framerate issue has been taken care of. It is definitely a worthy successor to 2K's strong line of MLB games over the past years.
I'll be playing Shawn Hill against Cole Hamels tonight!

I bought the game on its release day, and online play was horrible. My system froze every time I accepted an invite, and in the lobby, other people said they had the same problem. So I haven't picked it up since then.
They have patched it a few times since the release, so I may play it again tonight.
My Stros will pwn your Nats. :D

Online play is better, but not perfect yet. One of the key things you want to do is be sure to turn off the sports ticker. This greatly enhances the online experience and smooths things out quite a bit.
Other than that, until they replace the servers and come out with the next title update (work in progress), there is not much else we can do to better the online experience.

My copy from e-bay is on its way. You can soon look forward to challenges from my Toronto Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays are good this year too, that's a tough match-up. What do you think of the game so far? Speaking for the Nats, the players all look like they do in real life, and play at the skill level I'd expect them to, for better or for worse, haha. The new stadium looks gorgeous too, and just like the real one, having checked it out last week. 2K definitely does a great job at recreating MLB content in the series.

I posted in the other section of the forums, however I think it's a solid game from what I've played of it so far.
