Boosting

On Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, people have found a way to boost. I personally think they are the scum of xbox live and should be banned or something. But I have a question. My friend got all the way to elite(the highest rank), without boosting, so he says. But he got on today and his rank got reset. So my question to everyone is: If you got all the way to elite and then got your rank reset for some strange reason, would you boost back up to elite?

If I got to an elite legit without boosting and my rank was reset, yes I would boost to get back up to an elite. Why play legit anymore if my rank is just going to be reset for no reason? :confused:

I think I boosted like, one rank, about two ranks ago. I still have a ways to go to elite but if my rank was reset after I reach elite I would definitely boost back up to elite. Especially since I'd get that rank achievement that many people miss out on from playing the original Vegas.
