- The cliché of delivering an "open-world" game is something that developers have been touting since the last generation of consoles. Giving players a massive sandbox to roam around in is certainly a fad of today's market, but that alone isn't enough to satiate the appetites of those who have been playing the Grand Theft Auto series over the last several years. Mirror's Edge, from DICE the creators of the celebrated Battlefield series, presents players with a familiar setting. There's a giant city, you can go anywhere, leaping your way up and across the face of buildings, scaffolds, and generally anywhere that you can see. The twist? It's all delivered through one of the most active first-person displays that we've ever seen.

Yeah, I was watching that the other day as well... Up to that point, I'd not heard of the game. But I must say that the clip makes a solid case for at least further review...

To be completely honest, this game doesn't interest me at all. If I want to be able to run around like that, I'll play Assassin's Creed. This game only looks like eye candy to me, the actual gameplay = meh at best.

I do want to see more footage of this game.. I've read bits and piseces here and there on it and want to check out more before making any hard decisions.. I'm up in the air on this one..

Yeah, it looks like a great game. Very different, like something I have never seen before. Should be good. I already got it pre-ordered.

I'm very interested in this game. I have no problem supporting studios that at least try to do something new and fresh, like Mirror's Edge.
