Here are a few of my first attempts and making so custom plates. I still can't figure out how to post more than one pic in a post. Any help with that would be great.

It is just pen-on-plate?

Darth BW

Yeah I a Fiber-Castell Indian Ink pen.

Does the pen stick well to the plate or does it smear?

The pen takes about 2 minutes to dry. Once dry it doesn't smear any more. The Cobra plate I posted is spray painted.

That's really clean. Did you do it with the vinyl car sticker thing, too?

I cut the cobra logo and letters out of 8x10 piece of airbrush frisket. I couldn't find anywhere in my small town that would cut out stickers for me at a good price.

That Charlie Brown rocks. That looks exactly like something I'd do. I'm surprised I didn't think of it. Is the figure on plastic or something else? When I did the Homer Donut plate, I painted him onto sheet styrene and then used an xacto knife to trim the edges away.

Yeah he's on a piece of plastic that I cut out with a razor blade
