SoulCalibur 4 Created Characters!!

I thought it may be a cool thing to post up some of the created characters that you can make in SoulCalibur 4. With a little paitence (and some money) you can create some wicked fighters! Here's one of the ones that I finished recently, lets see what people can come up with???

I honestly don't have the patience or interest to create any characters. I was honestly never into doing that. Never did it for any of the WWE games which I'm a huge wrestling fan of, so I know I won't do it for others. Just not my thing, but when I was playing dudes online they got some pretty crazy shiit going on with their created fighters.

I just do the Ranked Basic fights that are even without all that armer bs.

You have any other created fighters to show us?

yeah I've done M. Bison, Sagat, Vega from the Street Fighter series. I've also done Ryu Hayabusa from his original ninja gaiden days, as well as Sephiroth from FF VII. I've also got a nice Hulk character, Iron Man, and the comedic Dread Pirate Roberts from the princess bride lol. I'll try to take some pics and whatnot and post em on here. You can only make the joker aparently if you bought the collectors edition b/c it comes w/ more clothing and equipment, etc...

Aw man, post those joints dude! :cool: Man, I have seen so many awesome and retarded created characters online in ranked games! I wish I could had taken a picture of dem.

Also, after playing online, I have come to the conclusion that all online gameplay is horrible. I tried out some online fighting in SCIV, unranked. Won a few rounds, all was well.

Then, I tried ranked. I was matched with a level 21 (me being level 1), who then proceeded to use the same exact move over and over again, one which I could not escape or block successfully.

I tried again, this time against a level 12. Same thing happened again.

Are fighting games always like this?

yeah the new sf4 looks amazing, however, thats slated for release in feb. of 2009. as for the ranked diff. yeah it does put you against anyone even a higher ranked than you. I started out lvl. 1 and went up against someone from korea who was a lvl 45. needless to say i won 1 out of 3 rounds, but got decimated from start to finish. Just keep at it, don't forget to move in circles around your opponent and that will naturally limit the attacks that your opponent can do. lol "If you sit by the water's edge long enough, eventually you will see the body of your opponent float by" lol little art of war quote if thats the right quote lol.

The online play is not smooth or responsive enough. This game is extremely fast pace and when online it is more of an offensive game because it is hard to counter/guard impact if the game is online. Th game is not lag free. I mean, you will have lag in the controls, however will not see it as the game is in motion. Hopefully yall naw mean!
I played until I got to Level 20 for that achievement. I have a great record. I believe 30+ games over .500 baseball.

As for someone doing the same move on you, I can't really hate on dem if your not blocking it. You have to know how to play. use your 8-way roll on the ground to get away.
There is always a way to escape danger in the game.

Oh, and Concord... all Online Fighting games are not bad. XBLA Mortal Kombat 3 & Virtua Fighter 5 Online are kick ass online!:hump:

I have never had 1 issue with either of those two games. I was shocked how great an experience VF5 was head-to-head online. Sega brought the realness with that joint. A truly under appreciated fighting series in the US.

Which one is your favorite so far, and who is your favorite SC4 character to use?
I really like your M Bison the most of what I have see so far.

Bison is fun to play with, however he doesn't really have much armor, so his defense is relatively low lol. bison or joker have to be my 2 favs. as far as char. i've done, the hard part is getting the color scheme to be accurate.
