Yeah I saw that when he posted it. Hilarious, but I can see the same thing happening to my own account having a wife a daughter who love playing these types of games.

wow that sucks. Well at least he is not 5200 in debt like I am. Speaking of debt, does anyone have any tips or trick for the Fable 2 pub games? I desperately need some help.

Her: Wait. (now playing Spinnerbox) What about the gold you lose?
Me: You mean the gold YOU lost?
Her: Yea. the gold we lost?
Me: No…you lost.
Her: Yea, the gold we lost.
Me (sigh): Yes, the gold you lost. That’s where we have the problem. I’ll now start Fable II in debt. As in poor. As in owing money.
Pure gold! hahha

Ok, so the inevitable happened!
I had like an 1800 bank account Monday night. And last night I signed in and find I had approximately 200 in debt. I come to find out my 7 year old was playing the spinnerbox games and well, didnt win very much! UG! LOL!

That was the funniest thing i've heard in a while, to bad I have no money for fable or i'd be in debt with the rest of you.

I don't know if this has been patched yet, but if you play fortunes tower and set the bet to minimum immediately hit the right-bumper (or is it left?) and your bet will go up to the Max but you will have only paid the min.
Example on the 150-1500 table. Set your bet to 150. Click A. Immediately click RB (or LB?) and 150$ is deducted from your bankroll while you gamble 1500$. Even if you cash out on a sum of 2 your still making tons of profit.
This is cheating, but it works and its for a single player game ultimately. So use the trick if you want, ignore it if thats what floats your boat. My fable 2 guy is sitting on 500k gold right now and a 2nd character is in the works with another 85k gold. Given that quests will not give you money in fable II I have a feeling I'd be gambling for ever without this trick.

Well I was only in like 5000 debt but I was getting pissed off because my star rating wasnt going up so I just decided to go play spinbox with 50 bet cause that would get my star rating up faster.

so your telling me if you suck at the pub games and have a debt, that debt will transfer over to Fable II and youll have a greater chance of sucking at that too? I can see how allowing you to transfer your winnings over to fable makes sense, but your debt?!

The debt only applies to your pub gambling in Fable II... not the whole world. These games will also be playable in pubs all over albion and when you start to play those you'll have a debt. Your character will be fine in the main game even if you have 100000000 debt in the pubs!

You seem to know alot. Two questions:
1.What exactly does it mean when it says you can merge characters?
2. How exactly do you transfer money from your character in the pub games to your hero in Fable 2? And is it only your winnings from tournaments? Cause you know when you are on the dashboard looking and the game and it has your friends leaderboards? Well it says that I only have like 2000 prize gold win in fact I have 250000 in gold.

You know how you can have several different characters in the pub, each with their own winnings and debt? Well you can merge (import) those winnings/losses into your Fable 2 account. So you can add all your +'s, and not your -'s until you get those out of debt should you choose.

Actually... Any debt you get in the Pub Games does transfer to your in-game character... And does affect your game world/experience...
This is made clear in a lot of stories/articles and even from Molynex himself...
Like this quote right here:
"To get there, though, might cost you. Now, you can keep borrowing and avoid paying off your debt, but it's possible this could lead to dire consequences for your hero in Fable II."
