The 'New Xbox Experience' is coming. I personally can't wait. Here is some new info and screens (http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2008/09/26/ntmsxe.aspx) regarding the update.

Can't say I like how old themes are handled, necessarily, but overall it's going to be an interesting update, I think. Now give us a date, dammit!

A lot of information and videos can be found here as well: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/nxe/

I'm like you I don't really care for how the themes will look in the dashboard. A lot of the themes that I have, have the images towards the bottom or middle, unfortunately the new dashboard has a grey area from the middle of the screen down which will block most of the images on the themes that I have.

As for the date, November has been announced as the month of release. I think it will be more towards the end of the month, still waiting to hear of a final release date for Scene It: Box Office Smash as that will be the first game to use the avatars. Right now a lot of places have it releasing on Oct. 28th.

I too can't wait for this update. Who cares about the themes, I rarely change mine. I don't pay for any either, I upload pics and stuff off my external HD.
I'm looking forward to the 1 vs. 100 game myself, and the Netflix thing.

I love how the Theme 2.0's look. Wonder how interactive they'll really be.

Yeah, you have to have a netflix account to watch movies. Also if you want to watch a movie with a friend they would also have to have a netflix account. And its only going to be available in the U.S.

Can't really find to much information on netflix, hopefully they will release a little more info about it when it gets closer to release.

Edit: You can find more information about the update here:

Be happy, us Canadians probably won't get the NetFlix stuff for quite some time, much like how it took us an extra year almost to get the movies.
