Mine is already in the mail and coming tomorrow. But how did they get 8.8 overall? All the values were below 8.8 in each category.

Got my copy on reserve, gotta pick it up tomorrow. From the looks of it, it's getting more love internationally then it is in the States, but that 8.8 is for some minor issues and it's quite understandable (not a fully fleshed co-op in some area, the menu system, etc).

It was amazing to see what the nitpicks were moving from the UK, Australian, and US review. Bottom line, still looks to be a strong game for a strong season of XBox games and I'll be having my fun tearing this game apart.

Same here, I'll be getting mine tomorrow. Should be delivered around 5-6 PM, I have to work though so I probably won't be able to play it until Wednesday.

It's a great game - very robust. I'm surprised at the subtle depth of everything.

From being able to dye your hair and clothing, to effecting the economy or each region based on what you buy in realestate, in shops, and whether or not you take a job in that area.

I love the game - it's a whole lot of fun.

I'm getting my copy tomorrow. Lowest score I've seen for the game was Gamespot, who gave it an 8.5. Not bad at all, if you ask me.

8.8 is pretty low if you ask me. im pretty good friends with a gamestop manager and i got to go play a copy for a little bit before the midnight release tonight. from what i played the game seems amazing! almost Dead Space quality

I'm glad they added the online co-op on the first day of release.

So I haven't figured out how to transfer my stuff from the pub games to the actual game. Does anybody know how to do that?

You have to play a pub game, while in Fable 2. When you win all your stuff will be transfered.

Well I just finished the game. I'm not gonna lie the ending really disappointed me, like a lot, Fable 1 had a much better ending IMO. But besides the ending I enjoyed every bit of the game, there is a ton to do and the world is really captivating. Now it's time for me to beat it as a good guy.

I am coming to enjoy the social aspects of the game and the combat system is a ****ing blast, looks like a damn movie the way I'm jumping between enemy to enemy. Granted, I've got gripes about the camera and I think the co-op is destined to not be as much fun since it isn't truly a meeting of two minds in one world (since you have to take a generic look), but thus far, I'm enjoying this game much and I'm hoping to see what sidequests this game has to offer.

They spoke of huge choices in this game; and since IGn spoiled the first big one that you get as a child, I'm hoping to see some come my way to really invest me in the game.

Class stuff thus far.

The game has issues, mostly technical, but damn if it's not insanely hard to put down. I'm going the high and mighty route right now, but will start a new game and be a total fat evil beyotch for my second playthrough. I'm loving all the additions to the game, most noticeably the more robust combat and real estate aspects. Some pretty funny nods to the past game in there, too. I feel like so much more of a badass this time around. Major props to Lionhead, I hope they patch some of the issues, though, especially the menu lag.

i love this game, I have played it for a few days and it is great. It is almost everything I wanted it to be. The only problem I have with it is the co op. It sucks you can't use your own character, and you have to split the money and experience(which is kinda cool but annoying) and the camera is the most annoying thing. But there is still fun to be had in co op but it can be kind of annoying at times. i would probably give this game a 9.5 or 9.8. Its just the co op that is holding it back from a ten. But I still say it is a definite buy.

I reviewed it and gave it a solid 9/10. Can be read here on the front page:

So far I am liking it. I just beat the crucible and so far I am glad I bought it. It does have quite a few bugs and glitches and graphical clipping. I would recommend it for anyone who likes action rpg type games, but I just don't think its as good as the original fable.I liked the art direction of the first fable much more, the design seemed to flow more with a fairy tale theme, this one seems to be caught in between cartoon and realistic.

I've played it quite a bit. I'm addicted. Its a really great game but not a mind blower. Could've been a lot better (especially with the technical issues) but I'm still really impressed with some aspects and appreciate a job well done. I can't wait to own every house and shop in Albion!

I just finished it. I love this game! It was amazing and I love the ending. It was a tough choice and I wish I could change it, but overall Fable is an amazing game. It is one of the best games I have ever played with one of the greatest story-lines. This is def. a 9.8 9.9 easy. This is a must buy game.

It is going to be hard but I don't know if anything else is going to top this game this year. I think Fallout might do it but its is going to be hard. We will see.
